🚍 Autonomous Shuttle

Since March 9, a pilot autonomous shuttle has been running on the Meyrin site, replacing Bus Line 1 for internal campus transport. This project is a step toward safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility on campus.

What is the Autonomous Shuttle?
A 100% electric, self-driving vehicle designed to provide safe, sustainable, and efficient campus mobility.

How it Works:

  • Operates on a defined campus route
  • Fully electric and eco-friendly ⚑
  • Equipped with sensors to detect surroundings and navigate safely 🧠
  • Operates at a low speed (30 km/h) for passenger safety πŸ›‘οΈ

Safety Measures:

  • A safety driver is onboard during the pilot phase πŸ‘€
  • The shuttle can automatically stop if an obstacle is detected πŸ›‘
  • Continuous monitoring ensures a secure ride πŸ‘οΈ

Try the Pilot Shuttle!
Experience the autonomous shuttle in action during Mobility Week:
πŸ“… When: March 17, 18 & 19 – every 15 minutes from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
πŸ“ Where: In front of the Hotel, Bldg. 38

Hop on, enjoy the ride, and see how smart mobility is shaping the future of campus transport!
