Mobility Week 2026
From March 17–19, 2026, CERN’s Mobility Week brought together innovation, fun, and sustainable transport in front of Restaurant 1.
Highlights
🔧 Bike Repair Atelier
- Over 50 bikes were repaired during the event.
🚍 Autonomous Shuttle Pilot
- Participants experienced CERN’s 100% electric, self-driving shuttle.
- 20 demo rides showcased the future of smart campus mobility.
🎶 Velo Music: Pedal-Powered Beats
- Pedaling powered live music performances by CERN musicians.
- A fun, interactive way to see energy in action.
🔥 E-Bike & Battery Safety Workshop
- Firefighters taught first aid, lithium battery safety, and emergency drills.
Impact
- Visitors explored sustainable mobility, learned practical skills, and had fun.
- The event demonstrated how small actions can have a big impact on sustainability.
